Clear Glass is a glass manufactured in the float line without any tint, allowing it to be transparent in nature. This transparent and clear finish ensures clarity of vision with true colours of the objects. Clear glass is very versatile and finds a wide range of applications in partitions, doors, furniture, display cabinets etc.
The grade and quality of a clear glass is determined by iron content (measured in PPM – Parts per Million) in Silica-sand, a key raw material in making of glass. Lower the iron content, clearer and purer is the glass. Saint-Gobain plants in India manufacture clear glass with low PPM levels of 654. By bringing down the iron content to just 654 PPM with the help of manufacturing efficiency and technological advancement, Saint-Gobain brings, what is clearly, the purest glass.
