Jindal Aluminium Limited (JAL) is a leading aluminium extrusion manufacturer in India. Started the journey dated back in 1968 with a factory for the manufacture of aluminium extrusions, today the company has 11 presses with an installed capacity of 1,20,000 tonnes per annum.

During 2017-18, Jindal produced about 85,490 tonnes and ranked as the largest manufacturer of extrusions while meeting 30% of the country’s total demand.

Offering a wide range of aluminium alloys including AA 1100, 1200, 1050, 1060, 1070, 3003, 31000, 3105, 8011, 5005 and 5052, Jindal is known for its product and product quality that are well accepted all across the globe in diverse alloy combinations for segments such as Aviation, Architectural, Transport, Electronics, Defence, Solar, Roofing, Cladding, Insulation, Closure stock, Foils etc.

The company also exports its aluminium extrusion products to several countries of the world. Due to image, reputation and high quality, its products command 15% premium in the market.

The company’s present annual turnover is over Rs.2750 crore, share capital and reserves are around INR 1110 crore.

Taking a step forward, JAL also diversified its business into aluminium rolled products, commissioning the state of the art aluminium sheet and foil manufacturing facility at Dabaspet, Bangalore, with an annual production capacity of 40,000 tonnes. During 2017-18, this aluminium rolled products division produced 33,395 tonnes in total, including sheets, coils and chequered sheets under 5 mm thickness.

JAL also exports these aluminium rolled products to various countries, mainly to UK, US, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.
